The Return of Lady J to Go Figure

Last night Lady J made her triumphant return to "Go Figure" as an evil Annette Funicello. We started out with surf music (Dick Dale, etc.) but then moved on to some David Lynch soundtracks to darken the mood. She was great as usual with an overwhelming presence and emotion.
This drawing was done with a Derwent black colored pencil.

Interesting drawing, excellent as usual. Nice accentuation to the lower half. Do you plan on doing any paintings based on these life drawings?

PS I do want to make it out to one of these events. I know Jesse would go with me if we planned a day.

Thanks. I don't know yet about the paintings; I'm just so swamped with other commissions, but maybe eventually...
Yeah, you should come- we had a great crowd yesterday.

Excellent time last Monday! Looking forward to seeing that comission portrait painted. You're doing a great job with the drawing sessions.

Thanks, Fred. Actually, I don't know how much longer they're going to last...out of my control. Satchmos has been closed the past few days. We're definately having it this Monday, though.
