Well, I guess I'll be the first to comment here. Um, Carla's no Lady J, or Larva, or Sheila or Cassandra, etc., but she does have very 'drawable' features, which you captured really well here, Dan. Although she looks really angry in both your drawings, I can see how if she were to loosen up a bit, you could get some really cool not-so-serious expressions. Good job, I love coming in every Tuesday and checking out your Go Figure posts. I hope everything works out for Satchmo's and you can continue the sessions. And I hope to make it out to a couple soon!Jesse
Thanks, Jesse. I hope you can make it out and we can continue to do this a little longer at Satchmos. Btw, just be careful with the comments, because you don't know who reads this. I think Carla was more attractive in reality than in my drawings- I was exaggerating a certain look she gave.
I'm sorry to miss another one! Deadlines this time. The model looked cool! What's up with Sachmos? Can I help?
Yeah, the model was very interesting. Satchmos is in financial trouble, and Alex is working on it, but the future is uncertain. I thought maybe we could have some sort of show of our figure drawings to help raise some money for the place, but it's nothing definite yet. Thanks for the offer-Fred, I'll be sure to let you know.
Man, dat lady looks pissed! She's damn Annnggreey!! Wonder what kinda day she musta had to give off those emotions...but...nice relections of that inner pathos in the drawings, senor Springer!
Gracias, por your continued support.
