The chop mark was something my parents brought back for me from China; I used to use it to sign my work, but it started to lose it's mark over time(this was about 20 years ago).
Maybe I'll do more black & white- I was avoiding it to challenge myself to do more color (painting), but it's been a while, so I might go back to it.
