Here's a couple fairly recent drawings from my sketchbook. Ball point pen as usual.

Jesse& Justin- thanks, I might put them in a comic eventually; just don't have the time right now.
Working in ball point pen isn't so bad- you can draw lightly with it at first and flesh things out as you go on. It's not like how I work in the Park with my brush-pen; every mark with that is pure black- no mistakes allowed.

I did all my drawings in high school (for the most part) in ball point pen...I think it helped me to try and not worry about erasing and just be confident in the line I was putting down.

The only really bad thing about ball point pen is the ink in them is non-archival; it fades with exposure to light and is not waterproof. So if you want your drawings to last over time, its not the best choice. Looks good for sketches though, and you can always preserve the drawings digitally...

well, it's a good thing that it's in a sketchbook and rarely gets exposed to light.
