thanks. Not sure what you mean by not rounded enough...Do you mean it doesn't look 3-dimensional enough? That's what I was thinking about. Did you get why she's holding the mic that way?
Hey, my Mom reads this blog! Careful with the implied language... You're right, though- it's pretty obvious. She's milking the mic to get the most out of her performance.
I thats an awesome drawing. But I'm still a fan of the scrinchy-face one. I think that one says a LOT about her. Plus in this one...the mic... I don't know... is it rounded enough?
Yeah, I'm going to change the mic for the painting; I experimented with the lines in the mic in a way I mormally wouldn't have, and it didn't work the way I wanted. Oh well- now I know. I'm going to use this one for the painting, because it also says a lot about who she is and what her act is. She gets a "JERK" response from the audience from her off-BEAT (beat-off), sometimes "dirty" jokes. The look she's giving the viewer is that of knowing what's going on in the drawing, and knowing that you know. I still like the other ones as well, but what are you going to do? Don't worry, though, Cam- you haven't seen the last of that other drawing, which I also like.

Thanks- glad you could see it clearly.
I can see clearly now the...
yeh, this is really good, Dan...beautiful rendering...I like all the Sarah's, but I think I like the regular pencil (b/w) ver. best.
On this one the only thing that bothers me is the head on the mic...doesn't look rounded enough.

yes, more 3-dimensional..sometimes words escape me. I figure she's holding it like a c**k.
