Angelique's last pose

Angelique and I both thought that a Seppuku pose would be a fitting end to our assassin night.

DAN! Sheila's session looked great (as usual) and Angelique looked like she would have been fun to draw!

I keep having a series of bad timing on Mondays! Your drawings always look great by the way.

Thanks, Fred; always nice to hear from a real pro.
Yeah, the assassin night was fun- I'm thinking of doing more of those and calling them "Kung Figure".
Hope to see you there soon.

I like the shaded emphasis on the boots. Very fetish. i've been eagerly buying those Fantagraphics digests devoted to the pin-up artists of the 60s: like Bill Ward (who this drawing reminds me of a bit as he was keen on using the side of a conte crayon to get that silk stocking effect, Dan Decarlo (he's heavily influencing my version of Daphne right now), Don Flowers and Bill Wenzel. You might want to consider putting a pin-up portfolio together of the whole martial arts thing... Might get a book deal...

Thanks, Cam.
It's definitely a thought- I'd like to do more Go Figure sessions with weapons- hopefully the rest of the group shares my enthusiasm for that...but probably not to the same degree.
I might just make them up out of my head instead eventually.
I'm still waiting to comment on your latest blog entry, but it was so long- I haven't had the time yet... but soon.
