Ron Mueck at the Brooklyn Museum

This is a sculpture from Ron Mueck called "Big Man" from his show at the Brooklyn Museum. You really have to see this in person to get an idea of how impressive it is.
It was about 7 or 8 feet tall and incredibly life-like. His pieces have great expressions on them as if they're aware that they're naked in a Museum and people are staring at them.
They had a short film on his process showing there, and it showed him sculpting in clay, making a cast, filling it with silicone and fiberglass and other materials, painting it, adding texture, and putting in hairs one at a time.

That is AMAZING. At first I thought it was a new painting from you, then did a double-take and saw it wa a photo. Incredible work.

Yeah, this one is deceptive in that the photo makes it look like a painting, but it's a sculpture. You have to see it in person, but the last day of the show is Wednesday...so hurry!!
