Too happy

Thanks for the comments, Justin, Fer, Cam and Pam...

Yes, I'm a little too happy. Making fun of people through drawing always makes me smirk. At least I'm not laughing when I'm drawing them...

Last night I saw a clip from "Art School Confidential" and it looks great. John Malkovich is an art teacher who paints awful triangles; looks really funny.

me caricaturing

This is what I look like when I caricature...always (I had trouble downloading a photo for the main profile part of the blog, so this is it...)

Caricature in progress

Here's a "in progress" caricature done at "Faces and Names"- located at 161 W. 54th St. in Manhattan. When they first opened about 10 years ago, I was in there every week... Now I'm lucky to go there every couple of months. I don't think they like me anymore.

Bob

This is a painting of Robert Deniro I did for Eddie the bartender.

"Say hello to my little friend!"

Al Pacino from "Scarface".

U2

Here's a U2 painting I did for the bar- "Rumours" located at 55th & 8th Ave. It's better in person...

Rice is nice

She wasn't "briefed" about hijacker's plans to use planes as weapons...

I did this from the TV while she was being questioned by the 911 commission.

Mick and Keith

Here we see Mick and Keith lounging around. It's a good thing Mick is there to keep Keith up...

Elvis

Here's Elvis in "Love Me Tender". It's mainly pencil with some black oil bar.

Jack Black

This is a sketch of Jack Black I did last Summer while watching "School of Rock". There has been no better venue for Jack Black than this movie. He is Dewey Finn.

Thanks Cam and Justin

Thanks to the constant pestering of Cam & Justin, I now have a blog. Where would I be without my friends? Without a blog- that's where.
Now to post some images....
